aura clash samesex mod

Alright! I got back to my computer; learned some basic choicescript; solved a bunch of errors from both me and the author, and now I think that it is time for the first public test! This is a modded version of Aura Crash, it contains the newest update, Dan's mod, my editing up until chapter 4, and a save menu I found on the forum. For images to work they must stay in the same folder structure that they are in right now (I couldn't find the image for chapter 8, so you can enjoy my masterful editing). Have fun, and if you want to help I left some comments in chapter 4, there might be some oversights in previous chapters before I started commenting too. (I recommend downloading the base folder for some organization, but as long as the assets folder and html one are on the same level images should work, if you don't care for them you can download only the html)

To be fair a lot of people mod games to remove same *** and "DEI" stuff. But yeah its his game and if hes not comfortable writing it then it is what it is

Alright, after some trial and error I did it. Here (mediafire btw, not cogdemos as was implied) is an APK that should work, getting images to function properly took a bit, and since I don't have them all some had to be made up in paint, still this worked on my phone.

I did so yesterday or maybe the day before that, I was not planning on maintaining it, and no one seemed interested either. I have a copy of the files, but they are probably outdated, so unless someone is interested in starting a new mod and wants to see what I did I don't really see much purpose in sharing them again.

That's so funny because I've decided to take this on a few days before, and once I finished downloading everything from you, I only realized that the files were taken down yesterday, when I replied

Since I haven't played through the full game yet, I didn't want any spoilers, so I really only wanted to change the images of your build to match what's on the Twine itch.io version, the version I enjoyed before finding out later that same-*** relations was prohibited (sadge)

I'm not quite sure how much or specifically what has changed since, hell I'm not even sure how many chapters there are, but looking at the patreon build on auraclash.com/merchants/play, it doesn't seem like much has changed, since the author looks to be focusing on porting the game over to Twine right now, and seems like he finished up to Chapter 8 on October 28, 2025
 
That is quite a coincidence.
I just sent you a message with a method to get the images, keep in mind that my build was only partial in its implementation, and given the way the checks to prevent same gender romance were made it had to be modified manually.
This means that it works until maybe chapter 4 and then it would default to the base game unless something is changed.

That's a shame, I appreciated that you actually put in the modding work. For any future efforts, I've moved files around so the new image conversion is to take anything saying "images/" and changing it to "https://www.auraclash.com/assets/images/". I've already done this on the itch build and free build.

i *think* the "evil homophobic code" was patched out, one anon helped me find where my variables were changing incorrectly so I didn't need it anymore. If it's still there afterall, search for ":: ch3-start ", ":: ch4-start ", etc, cause it was a quickfix at the top of 3 chapters. That space is important, it will make sure you only get the initial passage because I have a lot of stuff like "ch7-start6" that would give you false leads.
