Help with Path of martial arts

After accepting Mei mei's bomb quest how do you get rid of it? I keep getting blown up from my spatial ring after interacting with blobs

It gives you the option to get rid of it before the fight with long chen. You can use the golden seed instead. But only use it once during the very end of the fight to "kill" him. If you didn't drop it before the fight then I'm pretty sure it's stuck there.

I might be dumb but i don't remember having a fight with LC after accepting the bomb

You have to replay the game cuz the option was only added on 0.9 so you might be playing on an older save.
