Good story, nice attention to detail with consequences to actions and who you work with and as. It is a horror title clearly based on HP Lovecraft's Cthulhu. I will say however I think there is a possible problem in difficulty you may definitely need the mod menu as your sanity will just shatter like an egg shell against a sledgehammer.

I am not certain how many endings there are but I'm certain there are quite a bit as there were a good deal of choices and even interactions you could have (not to spoil) which I would assume may result in unforseen consequences. (Foreshadowing the ending I got)

I was quite content to play it only once as the book is quite long and does require you to actually think as you do play a detective.

(I'm short, good, consequences exist, long book, use brain.)

[Something to remember]
Your first character (yes first) is temporary so if you want to play as yourself or something name your first character as someone else. Your initial character will be mentioned a bit so it's a cool detail.
