Mine's a short lizard wizard, who has a harem.
Mine's a Yokai who's slowly becoming a megalomaniac. Midoritakai-style, with the elements of fire and ice (I know that's a cliché, Xb).
Interesting, the lizard yokai are catching my attention since I've heard they're getting a lot of love in the new episodes.
Also, the creator has been suggesting and flirting with the idea of allowing the lizard yokai to slowly "evolve" into a draconic heritage. It would be freaking awesome to be able to turn into a dragon.
I would say I'm surprised but I'm not anon always manages to surpass expectations and each race is pretty cool honestly it's just a matter of preference, I recall an action only available to wolves that was really funny
There's a lot of talk about including more of those unique interactions based on the MC's race. There are also some pretty comical interactions if your MC is female.
I wonder if there's anything cool planned for the canine Yokai, similar to the possibility of acquiring new tails with the kitsune and the possible draconic form of the lizard Yokai. I imagine each race should have something like that to keep them balanced, but it might be too much work.
Do you guys think Sun Wukong is a Aoyusumu practitioner or that he can use all styles like he claims.
Personally I think he just uses aoyusumu cuz we've never seen someone with two styles so far. Besides Goro offscreen and he has a weird power sharing thing with his sister

Kiihakai - Herbalist
Midoritakai - Trapper
Kurokonton - Merchant
Aoyusumu is the only one that doesn't synergize with anything.
Also each background gives you an extra skill point in the fight with Jack at the Heavenly Gate. Like if you push Jack off the cliff as a herbalist you gain +Thievery.
Wild Gods can use all Styles.

Kiihakai nets the most AP in my experience. I also like the chi manipulation it reminds me of Bam from Tower of God.
Aoyusumu though has the best transformation in chapter 8 imo. Its a close second for me.
Ngl thats kinda strange that the Lightbringer didn't use multiple styles too. Maybe its because he was too weak?
Would be nice if Yokai characters could go freestyle too but I don't think we're getting that
