The MC was kind of held captive by their "mother" but at some point our MC manages to escape. When escaping he ends up bumping into a woman who says she knows them but as the MC still 100% believes "mother" they goe into shock while the "mother" appears and starts fighting with this woman, during the fight the woman manages to convince the MC to escape and then he ends up running into a group of people who initially suspect him.
An addendum, the MC sometimes behaves like a child due to the fact that he was held captive by his "mother" and knows almost absolutely nothing about the world
