I read the new fights. It's not Nikki's style of writing at all. Did discord complain about the fights so it got changed? It's more like Adrao's writing style and I'm personally not a fan of Adrao's fights because the options have all the same consequences even with different words.

i'd say it has more depth than adrao,in the explanation of how each choices go but i think that because he's branching out in daos,he wants there to be more options so thats why he wrote them like that,its not too terrible tho imo as long as the proper reaction afterwards are added

I prefer the new fights for letting you use different stats to succeed and letting you end the fight earlier. Maybe it needs more work on the branching like you said but otherwise its a step in the right direction imo
I'm like 90% sure the Caihong route is already scrapped and if not, it literally has 0 content and will likely be scrapped.Meimei it is I guess. Honestly. I found the demonic playthrough way too meh(Even to this day. I pray and hope for a xianxia game where I can act like Fang Yuan. Wu Heir is such a fraud and a dog for meimei. I had thought demonic path would've made Wu fraud more manipulative and actually demonic)

I doubt povs will acknowledge the difference what wu heir can do they won't have much branching they never did they always cut off important parts lol.Look at Ruo's pov when he comes to attack wu heir how it cuts mid way when actual talk of any substance happens or how mei mei pov of tourney first round goes niki just does outline for them there is barely any variations and unless niki has a complete change of heart regarding it I don't see povs mentioning actual performance difference wu heir can have from complete domination to winning by giving his all.At best a mention of devil for ones who trigger it.
It will still be fine if povs are like that because they aren't the important thing it's about acknowledgement of mc outside it when the next events happen whether mainline or optional and the world for whatever reason always forget what mc has done.that is way more important if niki writes future events with that knowledge of what mc has achieved by now the mc would be acknowledged way better.
