Honestly, I'm just following POMA to see where the story is going and how it's going to end. It's a typical story with immense potential that wasn't developed correctly, but that potential remains there, waiting and rotting for a salvation that seems unlikely to come.

I'm not sure. According to Nicky, this isn't a retcon; Dong Xiaotong was always a native.
