lol well IMO if it's a DEVELOPMENT BLOG then posting authors' political stuff is definitely over the line. And I won't call it idolizing the author but simply professional. At least this author is honest to tell the readers that's what they gonna keep doing. So yeah, credit to that

it's not about putting authors on pedestal, but people who follow the development blog expect updates about the game/if, not the author's personal rant/rambling.
and readers also have the right to stop following/supporting the authors who can't be bohered to create different blog for that.
