It feels that for a bit but the main character is broken, rusty and traumatized. The end of this release was where it was getting good, he just had surgery. Got new equipment, feels better and has his friends back.
 
When The Exile is completed, hopefully, there's no doubt it'll be one of the GOATS in the IF community. The demo is already S Tier in my book. Just my opinion though.

Really? If you read the entire demo, word for word you would understand completely why MC is powerless. The mother and wife broke them, took their power and exiled them but now at the end of Chapter five they redo the surgery and give them back their power. And not out of kindness but truly tho I hope we get the option to kill all who betrayed MC. It's a very dark story and I love it. Can't wait for Chapter 6.

Im not trying to be confrontational, I just want to help you understand. MC was the most ferocious warrior in the kingdom but that really stemmed from the power they had before they lost literally everything. Now while battling depression and suicidal thoughts their not in that same mindset before exile. It really does hurt you in more ways than one. But I believe in more chapters to come we'll start seeing MC like they were before.

Same can be applied here, nevertheless I still love this demo, might become a Patreon. Just know they might be powerless and weak in the beginning and probably halfway through lmao they will find themselves again. Nothing will ever be the same but it'll get better. And I'm glad you're friend is doing good 😊
