It's because MC told Lorcan's father that Lorcan's uncle is meeting at hotel with Lorcan's mother (which I assume they were cheating).
After that, Lorcan's father probably got too angry and killed his wife (or maybe there's another reason we don't know). As lorcan is still child, he don't know why his father did that, and he finally then blamed it to MC because the last thing he knows his father change after what MC told them.

MC told Lorcan's father that they saw Lorcan's mother and paternal uncle 'wrestling' outside (there's a flashback to this in an earlier episode too, from MC's point of view). Basically Lorcan's mom was cheating. Lorcan's father killed Lorcan's mother because she was cheating on him. Lorcan was 10 at the time and had no idea what had happened, but realized that MC's snitching had something to do with it. He was a grieving kid who had no clue what really happened and lost everyone he loved (except Orla, ig) in one blow.
In his point of view, MC should've just kept their mouth shut.
