What IF do you miss?

Apologies if I've posted in the wrong part, but it came to me when going through the forum how many people trying to remember old IF's. So I thought we could discuss ones that started and disappeared on, a forever hiatus or maybe changed the story and you miss what it used to be like.

For me it was Scout. I think that was my very first IF back in 2022ish I believe? I read and really got into the story even if it was chapter 4 only to realise it hadn't been updated in a year and the author was no where to be found. It feel like I have so many but one I thought to mention was OFNA Birds of a Feather that looked really interesting under again the author disappeared

What about you, what IF's do you miss?

For me it would be Community College Hero 3: All Things End, it has been on hiatus for a very long time but thankfully the author has begun working to finish this little gem of a work.

Personally, I miss Vendetta and FANTASTIC Clash. Hopefully, both authors will comeback.

Although the Author do confirmed that she's back about 3 months ago, The Blood of the Dragon still stucked at prologue. Hopefully she recovers and finishes it, cause I NEED TO SEE THAT ODETTE-MC-VERENA Love Triangle dynamics

Vendetta! Yes that also on my list, it started getting into the actual story and then no post in over a year and a half

The Wight King, Demon Fireforged, Fell Star… man all good dark fantasies end up abandoned. On another note one I miss is Through Broken Lenses.. my first Wip ever so unique in a concept. Before COG became what it is today. At least Author gave us closure and was honest, instead of the typical it’s not dead! BS.

I was just thinking about OFNA yesterday. And yep, Son Of Satan was the best. I am lucky that I follow so many that I sometimes forget about them until something reminds me of a wip. Devils creek? The author posts but I don't remember the last update. Eye of the moon, Run Cried the Crawling, Zeus' Dilemma. Echoes of Olympus is the newest one I miss.

I miss the original Merry Crisis before the author purged all the interesting parts for a VN. Honestly one of the only IF's that really focused on the difficulties of being gay in a heavily traditional culture that felt so realistic, it hurt at some points. Especially the relationship with Qui. Hopefully someone else does something similar one day, "Aloha -- boys in love" (or whatever it was called) also did a solely BL IF that had the same themes but it's disappeared into the netherworld.

In Stasis and In Space was also a huge favourite of mine because one of the RO's was your alien adopted brother who was a huge controlling freak for you and the author really went in on the forbidden trope, but the puritans chased it away and the author deleted it long before Dashingdon went down. He did start to make a VN instead, but it didn't make it far. Will never forget that absolutely insane IF, RIP.
